ACP’s Facebook account hacked

Mumbai: The Facebook account of assistant police commissioner Sunil Deshmukh, who is serving in the Dahisar division, was hacked into and his employment status changed to “former ACP”.  “I am very much in the force. I am on leave and came to know about it on Thursday. I will file a complaint once I resume office on July 15,” said Deshmukh.

Deshmukh, who originally belongs to Nashik, was with the
Mumbai’s ATS for five years before being posted as senior inspector at Matunga police station. He was part of the 2006 Aurangabad arms haul case as well as the 11/7 train blasts case.
