Sheru is a contract killer and was imprisoned for 16 years before he was released in November last year, the police said.
Sheru and his aides had stabbed his cousin brother Owais Ansari (37), two sisters and their husbands. The dispute was over the ownership of a room located at Handia Street in Nagpada where the victims reside, the police said.
Sheru is the landlord of a chawl in Kurla and also owns a room in Nagpada. He was convicted for 10 years and also given double life imprisonment. Later, the HC merged the two life terms into one.
