Pune/Mumbai: In a significant step in the German Bakery blast case, Abdul Samad Bhatkal, younger brother of prime suspect Yaseen Bhatkal, was picked up by the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad on Monday morning.He was arrested in a littleknown case of contract killing, but senior officials told TOI the 25-year-old was suspected of having planted the bomb at the Pune bakery on February 13 that killed 17 persons.
Abdul Samad was held soon after he landed on Monday at Mangalore’s Bajpe airport, which saw the air crash on Saturday morning, on his return from Dubai.
