Mumbai: Interrogation of slain gangster Farid Tanasha’s bodyguard has revealed that he did not flee the city after the killing but had gone to drop his mother off to their hometown in UP. The crime branch is probing the case. Tanasha, a Chhota Rajan aide, was shot down on June 2.According to sources,Manoj Rajbhar (32), was picked up from Bhusawal station. Rajbhar had been working for Tanasha for the past eight years. “He says he was on leave and had gone to his hometown with his mother. We are questioning him about why he did not return after hearing about his employer’s death,’’ said an official. “So far, our probe has not revealed anything suspicious about him, but we are not taking chances,’’ he added.
