Mumbai: An 18-year-old collegian, who went missing on Thursday,wasfoundhanging on the premises of Hanging Gardens in Walkeshwar on Sunday morning. The teenager’s identity was established with his college identity card and home phone number.
The deceased youth, Habib Kadiwala, a Grant Road resident, was missing since Thursday. His body was spotted hanging off an old structure on the garden’s premises on Sunday at 10 am. “Visitors do not go near the structure as one has to jump off a five-foot wall to reach it. The body has been sent for an autopsy to BYL Nair Hospital,” said Vinay Bagade, senior police inspector.
While
no suicide note was found, the police said a few pages in Sheikh’s note
book indicate that he had personal problems. A case of accidental death
has been registered.
